About Carlotta
I love Science and understanding why and how the world works. I want to share that with other people. I find one of the most satisfying things is the moment when a concept that has been confusing someone finally clicks and they understand. I think STEM is the key to the future and helping young people better understand the basics so that they can go on to make a difference in the future is essential. I'm really passionate about science and teaching it (as part of my degree I did research into modern teaching methods) and I am genuinely invested in sharing my passion for science with other people. I truly believe everyone can do both Maths and Chemistry, it's just a case of finding the right way for each person to learn.

I believe the key to learning Maths and Science is understanding not to memorisation, so my lessons focus on explaining important concepts and the reasoning behind them so that knowledge can be applied in other contexts too.
I think the best way to learn is by doing, so lessons will focus on solving problems and looking at examples, with explanations as we go along.
I have a degree in Chemistry and experience in tutoring both Maths and Chemistry.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE or A-level/IB students (Year 9 to 13)
