About Cassandra
The smell of reagents in a lab still dictates how I view chemical bonds and reaction mechanisms. My BS Biology and Chemistry from UC Berkeley serves as the foundation for how I deconstruct the sciences for students.
I have taught 135 students over 10 years to bridge the gap between abstract formulas and physical reality. Lab and practical work are essential for true conceptual learning.
I emphasize electrochemistry and reaction mechanisms to build your confidence. You will find my approach focuses on internalizing the logic of the subject rather than just rote memorization. We will clarify the underlying principles until the material becomes intuitive.
