About Cassidy
My journey in chemistry began with curiosity about how substances change and interact in the world around us. This curiosity led me to pursue a PhD in Organic Chemistry, where I developed deep knowledge of chemical reactions and molecular structures. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students at different levels, helping them build confidence and strong understanding in chemistry. Teaching allows me to guide students toward clarity and success in the subject.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my methods to match their pace and understanding. I break down complex concepts into simple steps and use examples, diagrams, and exercises to make learning easier. I also encourage students to ask questions and think independently so they can build confidence over time.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new developments in chemistry and improving my teaching methods. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching chemistry is very rewarding because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them build strong knowledge, improve their skills, and achieve their goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and enthusiasm.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make learning clear, structured, and engaging for every student. I begin with fundamental topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, and periodic trends, explaining each idea step by step in simple English. I focus on helping students understand why reactions happen instead of memorizing formulas. I use real-life examples like cooking, cleaning products, and environmental processes so students can connect chemistry to daily life. This approach makes learning more interesting and easier to remember. I also create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas.
As students gain confidence, I introduce more advanced topics such as chemical equations, acids and bases, equilibrium, and organic reaction mechanisms. I guide them through structured problem-solving methods that help them apply concepts correctly. Practice exercises are included in every lesson to improve accuracy and understanding. I also review mistakes carefully so students can learn from them and improve step by step. Each lesson is designed to support steady growth and strong conceptual understanding.
Chemistry becomes easier when students understand how different concepts are connected. Over time, students develop confidence and begin solving problems independently. Many learners who once found chemistry difficult start to enjoy the subject and feel more comfortable. My goal is to help students build strong knowledge, improve analytical thinking, and gain confidence so they can apply chemistry effectively in exams, real-life situations, and future studies with clarity and success.
