About Lauren
I have been a tutor for 6 years now mainly in math subjects. The knowledge I have has allowed me to create many opportunities for myself including, attending Florida A&M University with fully paid tuition. And I would like to help others reach their goals. I love helping students that really want to learn their work. I not only consider myself a tutor but also a mentor. I encourage my students to ask or talk to me about anything that will help them in their classes, career, or life.

I teach remotely through Zoom. During the meetings, I share a whiteboard screen where I write out the examples from start to finish. This helps students see exactly how problems should be worked and specifically which steps they have problems with. The best thing about One-on-one tutoring sessions is that students can ask any questions they have and I can re-work examples in multiple ways until it's understood.
