About Leeann
I am a seasoned biochemist who has been tutoring chemistry for 5 years and teaching as a TA for 2 years. I received my B.S. in Biochemistry and B.A. in Chemistry graduating summa cum laude. I then received my Masters in Chemistry from Penn State to pursue a career in teaching. I have extensive experience in teaching general chemistry courses as well as biochemistry and organic chemistry.

I approach chemistry problems with simple analogies and techniques that enhance understanding and make chemistry much simpler for students. I am a strong believer in visual aids and in providing a picture for chemistry in order for students to grasp difficult concepts and to succeed in whatever chemistry course they are taking.

Since I am a graduate student at Penn State, it is easiest for me to hold lessons there. If you need to have a lesson elsewhere (~20 miles or less from University Park campus), the travel expense is applied. I do not hold lessons further away than that.
