About Diane
I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, currently in a post-bacc program. I have worked for private tutoring companies and taught chemistry, physics, biology, math and general science at a private school for two years. I also have experience with SAT and ACT prep, and can help with any K-12 subjects as well as college level!

Through the years I've learned that the best teaching method is shown to me by the student. Everyone has a different style of learning, and I am able to adapt to what the student needs in order to succeed. A lot of the times students come to me with the notion that "I'm just not good at math" or "I'm not that smart" and I like to gently remind them that no one is born knowing the quadratic formula, and no one is "bad at math". Science and mathematics are a skill that is best learned through patience and practice (and great study tips from your tutor!).
