About Kevin

I have a very successful career as a chemistry and maths teacher. I have taught in comprehensive schools, sixth form colleges, and Further Education. I have also worked as head of chemistry and as a university lecturer, training secondary teachers. I enjoy teaching, and working online provides a number of benefits. Neither of us need travel of course, but also the medium itself tends to minimise distractions and that helps us concentrate on our chemistry or maths.

Much experience teaching GCSE and A level Chemistry and maths to UK and international students.

I hold an up to date enhanced DBS.

I currently teach students who live in Russia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Thailand, Iran, UAE, Nigeria as well as in the UK.

About the lesson

I am a chemistry and maths teacher working at an international college in Brighton UK. I also provide online tuition for GCSE and A level chemistry and maths students. I have taught in the state, private and international sectors. I am very experienced and I provide tuition specific to any chemistry or maths syllabus.

I teach in an international college in the UK. I also tutor online in GCSE / A chemistry and maths. I have taught in schools, sixth form colleges, and Further Education, as head of chemistry and as a university lecturer training chemistry teachers.

I teach Chemistry and maths.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I have a BSc in Chemistry, MSc in Organic Chemistry, PGCE in Chemistry teaching specialising in secondary and further education. DPhil was awarded following 3 years theoretical and experimental research in process chemistry.

- How much do you charge?

I charge £35 per hour.

- Where do you teach?

I specialise in online chemistry and maths tuition.

- When are you available?

I am available at various times of day and evening all days of the week throughout the year. Normally tuition is weekly with any holidays as required.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Any age GCSE and A-level.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I can tutor and offer complete preparation for GCSE / A level Chemistry and Maths

I tutor online using Skype or Zoom (similar to Skype).

I can be flexible in the way we work. I can teach the whole course if you are not in a school.
I can explain and sort out any problems you are having at school.
I can help you practise and improve your skills at examination questions as you work through your syllabus.
