About Mira

My journey in chemistry began with an intense curiosity about molecular interactions, chemical reactions, and the processes underlying the physical world. This fascination led me to pursue an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, where I studied molecular synthesis, reaction mechanisms, and analytical techniques in depth. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through a range of topics, turning initial confusion and hesitation into clarity, skill, and academic confidence.

I prioritize a patient, clear, and adaptive approach in teaching, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, using visual aids, real-life examples, and practical exercises to foster comprehension and retention. I create an environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on application, allowing learners to build both conceptual understanding and independent problem-solving abilities.

Outside teaching, I actively engage in ongoing chemical research, experimental projects, and educational innovation, which enrich my lessons with contemporary examples and practical relevance. Teaching chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I witness students develop logical reasoning, precision, and intellectual confidence. Guiding them to become competent and thoughtful scientists remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.

Chemistry lessons are designed to make complex scientific concepts understandable, practical, and applicable to real-world scenarios. I cover a wide range of topics including atomic and molecular structure, chemical bonding, reaction kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, acid-base chemistry, and organic reaction mechanisms. Lessons are structured to encourage active learning, problem-solving, and conceptual reasoning rather than rote memorization, helping students see chemistry as an interconnected, logical discipline. By integrating illustrative examples, experimental analogies, and thought exercises, learners develop a strong conceptual framework that allows them to tackle both theoretical and applied questions confidently.

Lesson plans are carefully tailored to each student’s level of expertise. Beginners focus on understanding fundamental concepts, performing basic calculations, and developing strong problem-solving habits with guided supervision. Intermediate students work on multi-step reactions, analytical reasoning, and practical applications in laboratory contexts. Advanced learners tackle complex mechanisms, theoretical derivations, experimental data interpretation, and competitive exam preparation. Every session incorporates structured practice, interactive examples, stepwise explanation, and supportive feedback, ensuring that learners build both skill and confidence progressively.

Beyond academic mastery, chemistry lessons also cultivate analytical thinking, precision, patience, and disciplined reasoning. Students learn to approach problems systematically, interpret experimental data with accuracy, and develop the confidence to navigate unfamiliar challenges. My goal is to instill a lasting appreciation for chemistry, equipping learners with both intellectual and practical tools to succeed academically and professionally.
