About Arnav

My interest in Chemistry developed from curiosity about how materials change, interact, and transform under different conditions. This fascination led me to complete a B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry, where I gained strong grounding in both theoretical concepts and applied laboratory practices. Over 8 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them overcome confusion and build reliable scientific confidence. I believe effective teaching depends on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I focus on identifying where a student’s understanding breaks down and rebuilding concepts from that point forward. Whether through diagrams, real-world examples, or step-by-step reasoning, I aim to make abstract ideas tangible and logical. I encourage questions and value mistakes as part of the learning process, creating a supportive environment where students feel safe to explore ideas. Outside teaching, I stay connected to Chemistry through continuous learning, industry reading, and revisiting experimental techniques. This keeps my knowledge fresh and relevant. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding to me because I witness students transform from feeling overwhelmed to confidently reasoning through complex reactions and concepts with independence and clarity.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes engaging when students see it as a story of interactions rather than isolated formulas. My lessons focus on helping learners understand how atoms, molecules, and reactions explain the behavior of materials around us. Instead of memorization, I guide students to recognize patterns, causes, and outcomes within chemical processes. Concepts such as bonding, reaction rates, acids and bases, and thermodynamics are introduced through logical progression and clear explanation, allowing students to build understanding layer by layer. I emphasize calm discussion and active participation so students feel confident exploring complex ideas.

Lesson structure adapts carefully to each learner’s academic stage and confidence level. Beginners are supported with foundational concepts, symbolic interpretation, and visual reasoning to remove fear and confusion. Intermediate students work on balancing equations, stoichiometry, laboratory reasoning, and applied problem-solving. Advanced learners refine analytical thinking, multi-step calculations, exam strategies, and conceptual justification. Practice questions, conceptual checks, and reflective discussion are included in every session to reinforce learning.

Chemistry lessons also develop transferable skills such as accuracy, patience, and structured reasoning. As students gain clarity, they become more confident in approaching scientific challenges and exams. Many learners discover a genuine appreciation for how chemistry connects science to daily life, industry, and innovation. My goal is to make Chemistry feel logical, approachable, and intellectually empowering.
