About Cruz
My fascination with Chemistry began from a curiosity about how substances transform and interact in both natural and industrial environments. This interest encouraged me to complete a Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry while continuing to explore laboratory techniques and scientific developments through teaching and study. Over the past 3 years, I have guided students through different Chemistry topics while helping them improve understanding through supportive instruction and carefully structured lessons.
I believe Chemistry becomes easier when students understand concepts clearly instead of memorizing information without meaning. My teaching style focuses on patience, conceptual explanation, and adaptable learning methods suited to different confidence levels and learning speeds. I enjoy simplifying difficult scientific ideas through practical examples, diagrams, and step-by-step problem-solving methods that make lessons more engaging and approachable. I also encourage students to ask questions openly because discussion often strengthens understanding and long-term confidence naturally.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading scientific journals, learning about environmental chemistry, and exploring modern laboratory innovations used in healthcare and research industries. These interests help me bring updated and meaningful discussions into lessons while keeping students connected to real-world scientific applications. Teaching Chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I enjoy helping students transform uncertainty into confidence and curiosity. Watching learners improve academically while developing stronger analytical thinking remains one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching experience.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand scientific concepts through clear explanation and practical learning methods. I teach topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, organic chemistry, reactions, acids and bases, and laboratory techniques using relatable examples and structured discussion. Instead of focusing only on memorization, I guide students toward understanding why reactions occur and how chemical systems interact naturally. This approach helps learners improve scientific reasoning while building confidence gradually through consistent learning.
Lessons are adapted according to the student’s learning pace and academic goals. Beginners focus on formulas, balancing equations, scientific vocabulary, and foundational concepts through patient instruction and guided exercises. Intermediate learners improve reaction analysis, conceptual understanding, and calculation accuracy through application-based learning and interactive activities. Advanced students focus on laboratory interpretation, advanced reaction mechanisms, and examination preparation through deeper conceptual exploration and revision practice. Regular review sessions help learners strengthen confidence, consistency, and long-term understanding over time.
I aim to create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring scientific ideas. Many learners initially feel overwhelmed by formulas and calculations, but confidence develops naturally once concepts are simplified and explained clearly. My lessons encourage participation, curiosity, and independent thinking while supporting gradual academic improvement. Students often become more interested in science as they understand how Chemistry relates to daily life and industrial processes. My goal is to help learners approach Chemistry with confidence and stronger scientific understanding.
