About Joe
I am a postdoctoral researcher in Chemistry at the University of Bath, holding a PhD from the University of York and a first-class Integrated Masters in Chemistry from the University of Manchester.
I have experience with tutoring both individual students and groups, from GCSE, through to A Level and undergraduate levels of study. I have a passion for bringing out the best in each student, and assisting them with reaching their personal goals.

I teach Chemistry for all educational levels, and can tailor each class for the student's needs, such as problem topics from school/lectures, or specific exam preparation to ensure they get the top marks they deserve. Each lesson is typically 1 hour. Online lessons can be recorded so they can be watched back and revised from again, and lesson notes provided for both online and in-person lessons.
Besides from Chemistry, I am happy to tutor biology and physics at GCSE.

Perfect! Joe took on my son in the last few months of A level chemistry, after he had performed worse than expected in his mocks. Joe identified his weaknesses and addressed them methodically, with a collaborative and holistic teaching style. My son is now much more confident and I am reassured that he can now reach his potential. Top tutor, highly recommended.
