About Alex
I was educated at Eton College, achieving an A* in Maths and A grades in Chemistry, Physics, and Further Maths. I also hold a place at Imperial College London, and bring a strong academic foundation alongside proven tutoring experience. With a genuine love for science and technology, I emphasise curiosity and independent thinking in all my academic endeavours, creating a professional, engaging, and supportive learning environment for my students.

I take a student-centred, empathetic approach focused on clear explanations, active practice, and confidence-building. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and pace, combining guided examples, step-by-step problem solving, and regular, supportive feedback. I also set optional homework to reinforce learning between sessions.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged as needed.
My lessons are suitable for students from KS1-5 and from beginner to advanced levels. We will work together to achieve your goals and maximise your mathematical and/or scientific potential.
