About Meera

My interest in chemistry started with curiosity about molecules, reactions, and the invisible forces shaping chemical interactions. I earned a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences and Nanotechnology, studying organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical methods, and nanomaterial behavior. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students of all levels, helping them turn abstract topics into approachable and engaging learning experiences. I emphasize clarity, patience, and adaptability. Lessons are designed to reinforce conceptual understanding, provide guided exercises, and foster active participation. I encourage learners to ask questions, reason critically, and explore practical applications, building both competence and confidence. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with contemporary chemistry research, laboratory projects, and innovative chemical applications. Bringing these real-world insights into the classroom enriches lessons and makes content relevant and inspiring. Teaching chemistry is highly rewarding because I witness students transform uncertainty into mastery, developing both analytical skills and a genuine appreciation for the subject.

About the lesson

Chemistry comes alive when students can visualize reactions, predict outcomes, and understand molecular behavior instead of simply memorizing formulas. My lessons focus on organic reactions, acid-base equilibria, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, kinetics, and laboratory safety and techniques. I employ visual diagrams, real-world analogies, and stepwise problem-solving exercises to develop conceptual clarity and confidence. Lessons are interactive and supportive, providing opportunities to ask questions, experiment with problem-solving strategies, and apply concepts in practical scenarios. I emphasize analytical thinking, precision, and logical reasoning while fostering curiosity and engagement. Each session is designed to connect theory with practice, ensuring learners can relate abstract concepts to real-life chemistry.

I adapt lesson content to each learner’s proficiency. Beginners strengthen foundational knowledge, simple reactions, and calculation methods.
