About Amara

I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, with 13 years of experience teaching chemistry to students at various academic levels. My academic training provided me with a strong understanding of both theoretical principles and practical applications. My teaching style is patient, organized, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable steps while encouraging students to ask questions freely. I believe confidence develops when students clearly understand why concepts work, not just how to solve problems. Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with chemistry through continuous learning, curriculum refinement, and applied problem exploration. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because I see students gain confidence, clarity, and a structured approach to scientific thinking that supports their overall academic growth.

About the lesson

Chemistry becomes clearer when students understand the reasons behind reactions, structures, and transformations. My lessons focus on helping learners visualize chemical processes and understand how microscopic interactions lead to observable results. Through clear explanations, structured examples, and gradual progression, I help students build strong conceptual foundations that support long-term understanding.

Students begin with atomic structure, periodic trends, bonding, and stoichiometry before advancing to thermodynamics, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, and organic chemistry basics. I emphasize balanced equations, reaction mechanisms, and systematic problem-solving techniques. Each lesson includes guided practice to reinforce clarity and confidence.

Chemistry lessons also strengthen logical thinking, attention to detail, and scientific reasoning. Over time, students become more comfortable handling complex problems and explaining chemical concepts accurately. My aim is to help learners feel confident and capable in chemistry.
