About Daisy
My fascination with chemistry began with curiosity about how substances interact and transform in everyday life. This interest led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Nanoscience, gaining expertise in molecular theory, experimental procedures, and analytical techniques. Over 11 years, I have guided learners through challenging topics by connecting theory to practical applications and fostering conceptual understanding.
I focus on patient, individualized teaching. Many students struggle with abstract formulas, complex reactions, or laboratory work. I create lessons that break concepts into manageable steps, reinforce understanding with examples, and encourage active participation. Every student receives tailored guidance to ensure mastery and confidence in both theoretical and experimental chemistry.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with research, laboratory experiments, and the latest developments in chemical sciences. This allows me to bring real-world insights into the classroom. Teaching chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness learners grow in comprehension, problem-solving ability, and curiosity. Each concept is explained in detail, emphasizing understanding rather than rote memorization, and illustrating relevance through everyday examples to make chemistry engaging and accessible.
Beginners focus on building a strong foundation in element properties, chemical equations, solution chemistry, and laboratory safety. Intermediate learners tackle stoichiometry, reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, and multi-step problem-solving exercises. Advanced learners explore spectroscopy, advanced kinetics, chemical synthesis, and data analysis from experiments. Lessons include guided practice, visual aids, and interactive problem-solving to enhance comprehension and retention.
Chemistry lessons also develop critical thinking, attention to detail, and logical reasoning.
