About Emma
My passion for chemistry began with curiosity about molecular behavior and the transformative nature of chemical reactions. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, combining theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory expertise. Over 8 years, I have taught students across a variety of topics, emphasizing conceptual understanding, laboratory skills, and analytical reasoning.
I prioritize clarity, patience, and applied learning in my teaching. Lessons include detailed explanations, interactive exercises, and problem-solving activities to ensure students internalize principles and gain confidence. I encourage independent thinking, analytical reasoning, and curiosity-driven exploration.
Beyond teaching, I engage with research, experimental techniques, and contemporary chemical developments, integrating real-world context into lessons. Seeing students develop mastery, analytical ability, and genuine enthusiasm for chemistry is deeply rewarding. My goal is to cultivate learners who approach science thoughtfully, creatively, and confidently.

Chemistry becomes fascinating when learners can connect abstract concepts to observable phenomena and practical applications. My lessons cover organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, focusing on reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, equilibrium, kinetics, and laboratory techniques. I integrate practical examples, problem-solving exercises, and guided experimentation to build conceptual clarity and hands-on confidence.
Lesson plans are tailored to student experience. Beginners explore atomic structure, bonding, simple reactions, and solution chemistry to develop foundational knowledge. Intermediate learners tackle stoichiometry, kinetics, thermodynamic principles, and analytical reasoning. Advanced learners study spectroscopy, chemical synthesis, advanced lab techniques, and applied chemical analysis, preparing them for academic research or professional work. Each session emphasizes iterative learning, feedback, and conceptual understanding.
Chemistry lessons develop critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and precision. Students gain confidence in interpreting experimental results, analyzing chemical phenomena, and applying knowledge to problem-solving scenarios. My goal is to empower learners to approach chemistry methodically, creatively, and confidently, fostering long-term academic and practical success.
