About Jade
My interest in Chemistry developed from an early fascination with how invisible particles interact to produce visible change. This curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry followed by a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry, where I studied molecular behavior, energy systems, and reaction dynamics in depth. Over 11 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through a wide range of academic challenges, helping them replace confusion with clarity and confidence.
I believe Chemistry education should be supportive, structured, and encouraging. Many learners feel intimidated by equations and abstract concepts, so I focus on building understanding step by step, using clear explanations and thoughtful repetition. I take time to understand each student’s difficulties, adapting my teaching style to suit their pace and learning preferences while fostering independent thinking.
Outside the classroom, I remain engaged with Chemistry through scientific reading, concept exploration, and professional development. These ongoing activities allow me to bring fresh insight and relevance into my lessons. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness students grow from uncertainty into confident problem solvers who trust their reasoning abilities and approach challenges with assurance.

Chemistry becomes far more accessible when students clearly understand how microscopic interactions create observable outcomes in the world around them. My lessons focus on helping learners develop strong conceptual foundations in atomic structure, periodic trends, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, equilibrium, and reaction kinetics. I emphasize understanding relationships between concepts rather than memorizing isolated facts, allowing students to see Chemistry as a connected and logical subject. Each lesson progresses gradually, ensuring learners feel comfortable and confident before moving forward.
Lesson design is carefully adapted to the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners receive patient guidance with chemical language, symbols, basic equations, and introductory calculations. Intermediate learners explore reaction mechanisms, equilibrium systems, energetics, and laboratory reasoning in greater depth. Advanced learners refine multi-step numerical problem-solving, conceptual integration, exam strategy, and data interpretation. Guided practice, explanation refinement, and structured feedback are always included to reinforce understanding and accuracy.
Chemistry lessons also strengthen broader academic skills such as logical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving resilience.
