About William
I teach high school and college freshman level Chemistry.
Overcoming the fear and getting to the basics is the objective. Algebra is a prerequiste and another course is strongly suggested if there is intimidation. Every student must have a certain level of confidence.
My lessons will be interactive. We will follow the text or explore subject topic such as Chemiscal Equations. I will ask questions so the subject is understood. We will also do problems and have lots of practice.

Tutoring Chemistry starts with knowing the student and their understanding of the subject.
There are many reasons for taking the course however it must be understood that one lesson builds upon the last one. Proceeding to the next lesson without clear understanding leads to frustration and an ugly experience. It is understood that homework is really a practice session. The more pracitice, the better the understanding.
