I have just finished my first year of a Chemistry degree and am seeking experience to become a teacher once I have finished my time at university. My teaching method is to focus on one topic per lesson to ensure sufficient detail is covered. In addition, after a few sessions covering similar topics I like to do summary lessons and short tests to identify what has learnt well, what hasn't and why. Personally, I am a fairly visual learner but did not discover this until my degree and so I encourage finding out the type of learning that suits each individual and using this to alter lessons for best fit.
