About Rosie
I have tutored students previously for GCSE maths and chemistry and love to watch the moment a concept clicks in my tutee's mind. Schools do not provide the one to one support that so many students deserve and I aim to adapt to my tutee's learning needs and preferences in a way that just isn't possible in the classroom.

I prioritise a friendly relationship with students, allowing them to lead the direction of our tutoring and receive what they need most. I use a combination of worksheets and verbal teaching, prioritising making links and developing holistic understanding of the subject over rote learning. Memorising facts only gets you so far!
I focus both on developing understanding of curriculum content and improving enjoyment of the subject through puzzles, challenges and collaborative exploration.
