About Dalette
Hey my name is Dalette and I am currently a fourth year chemistry student at university.
I have always been passionate about science, and my love for chemistry truly blossomed during college. The content felt fresh and more exciting compared to GCSE, and I found myself learning in a more engaging and meaningful way. I also deeply admired my teachers, which inspired me to consider a career in education.
I genuinely enjoy helping students through science, supporting them in reaching their full potential, and fostering their own interest in the subject. Watching their confidence grow as they explore and understand chemistry is incredibly rewarding. Tutoring while pursuing my degree has allowed me to share my enthusiasm for science while developing valuable skills for university and my future career.
With three years of experience teaching A-level and GCSE chemistry, I have developed a strong understanding of the curriculum and effective methods for helping students succeed. To help you achieve your learning goals, I offer personalized online video chat sessions where we can discuss your needs and create a plan tailored to your specific goals. In a typical session, we start with the basics of the topic and build upon that foundation. Once you’re comfortable with the fundamentals, we’ll move on to practice questions. By the end of the lesson, the goal is for you to feel confident tackling similar questions independently. I strive to make lessons interactive and engaging, ensuring you gain the most from our time together.
Lesson Duration
GCSE and Lower Grades: 1 hour
A-Level: 1 hour or 1.5 hours, depending on your workload and exam preparation needs.
