About Reese
I am a chess tutor with 7 years of experience and a background in B.A. Cognitive Science and M.Sc. Game Theory. Over the years, I have helped learners from beginners to competitive players enhance their strategic thinking, tactical awareness, and overall chess understanding. My teaching emphasizes clarity, interactive practice, critical reflection, and personal guidance to foster growth and confidence.
Lessons are customized to each student’s level, pace, and goals, emphasizing the development of independent thinking, problem-solving, and competitive resilience. Students are encouraged to analyze positions deeply, anticipate opponent strategies, and explore creative approaches.
