About Dhruv
Ready to start you chess endeavor? I'm Dhruv an enthusiastic chess player who loves the beautiful art of chess and wants to help spread my knowledge, inspiring others to start they chess journey. I started playing chess since I was 6 years old, and ever since then I started to see chess as more than just a game, rather a way of life. Chess teaches you things you can apply to all aspects of life such as patience, critical thinking, and perseverance all disguised as a board game.

With over 10 years of competitive chess experience and a peak rating of 1900 FIDE / 2063 CFC. The lesson's I provide are tailor made for each student such that they receive the help needed to reach that next step.
Each session includes focusing on all aspects of the game targeted game analysis, opening preparation, tactical exercises, and strategic planning. I believe it is important to first understand and master the basics so that you know not just what to play but why moves work.
What sets me apart is my structured yet flexible approach. I don’t just teach theoretical textbook positions, I teach you how to think like a stronger player so you are prepared for any position that comes you way. Lessons are fully interactive so that you stay engaged the whole time with topics being built around your needs.
