About Clara
I hold a Master’s degree in Game Theory and Strategy and have 6 years of experience teaching chess to learners of all ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering logical reasoning, tactical understanding, and strategic planning in a supportive and motivating environment. I aim to help learners develop confidence, patience, and analytical skills while enjoying the game of chess.
Lessons are structured according to student level and objectives. Beginners work on fundamental rules, tactics, and basic strategies; intermediate students focus on positional understanding, openings, and calculation techniques; advanced learners tackle complex combinations, endgames, and tournament preparation. Every lesson combines exercises, puzzles, and practice games for consistent growth and skill development.
Outside teaching, I study grandmaster games, explore advanced chess theory, and participate in competitions to enhance my expertise. Supporting students in achieving strategic mastery, logical reasoning, and creative thinking remains the most fulfilling part of my work, as I witness them gain confidence and skill through chess.

My chess lessons are designed to nurture logical thinking, foresight, and creative problem-solving. Students explore openings, middlegame strategies, endgame techniques, tactical motifs, calculation methods, and positional understanding. Each session combines structured exercises, analysis of famous games, puzzle-solving, and competitive simulations to foster strategic insight. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident experimenting, analyzing positions, and learning from mistakes.
Lessons are adapted to the student’s level. Beginners focus on piece movement, basic tactics, checkmates, and simple strategies to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners refine openings, develop positional understanding, pattern recognition, and calculation speed. Advanced students work on deep strategy, endgame mastery, advanced tactics, and tournament preparation. Constructive feedback, guided problem-solving, and practical exercises are included in every session to ensure steady growth and improvement.
The ultimate goal of my chess lessons is to help students think critically, plan ahead, and develop strategic confidence that extends beyond the board. Students gain patience, analytical skills, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions. Each lesson combines technical mastery with creative thinking, making learning chess both intellectually stimulating and rewarding.
