About Camille

I am a chess tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and working professionals. Over the years, I have successfully trained around 200 students and helped them improve their thinking, planning, and competitive performance in chess. My goal is to make every student a confident and independent player who can think clearly during any game situation.

My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, patience, and practical learning. I focus on explaining the logic behind every move instead of only memorising patterns. I believe students learn best when they understand why a move works, not just how to play it. I use a step by step method that starts from basic rules and gradually moves to advanced strategies.

I cover all important areas of chess including openings, tactics, middlegame planning, endgame techniques, calculation skills, and positional understanding. I also train students in time management, tournament preparation, and game analysis. Real game examples and practice sessions are a key part of my teaching style. I help students review their games to identify mistakes and improve faster.

My classes are interactive and focused on building strong thinking skills. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn in a comfortable environment. I adapt my teaching methods based on each student’s level and goals, whether they are beginners or advanced players preparing for competitions.

One of my notable achievements is mentoring many students who have shown strong improvement in school-level competitions and local tournaments. I take pride in seeing my students grow in confidence and perform better over time. My aim is to continue helping learners develop strategic thinking and a lifelong interest in chess.

My teaching approach in chess focuses on building strong thinking skills, clear understanding, and practical game knowledge. I do not only teach moves, I help students understand the logic behind every decision on the board. My lessons are structured step by step, starting from basics and gradually moving to advanced strategies. I use real life examples and case studies from famous games to explain openings, middlegame planning, and endgame techniques. This helps students see how top players think in real situations.

I cover important chess subjects such as opening principles, tactical patterns, positional play, calculation skills, and endgame fundamentals. I also focus on advanced topics like pawn structures, piece coordination, time management, and tournament preparation. Students learn how to analyse their own games and find mistakes for continuous improvement. I encourage regular practice through puzzles, practice games, and scenario based exercises.

Understanding is at the centre of my teaching style. I make sure every concept is clearly explained and easily applied during real matches. Communication is always open so students can ask questions freely and improve without confusion. Integrity is very important in my coaching, so I focus on honest feedback and genuine progress tracking.

My sessions are interactive and designed to build confidence in competitive play. I support learners of all levels by adapting my teaching style to their needs and goals. Whether someone is a beginner or an advanced player preparing for tournaments, I guide them with patience and clarity. My goal is to help every student think like a strong, independent chess player who can perform with confidence in any game situation.
