About David
I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of subjects including music, physics, math, and chemistry for more than three years. Music is my main subject and career. I am a freelance trumpeter in the Chicagoland area and am currently a member of the Peoria Symphony, Wisconsin Philharmonic, and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. I also have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music Performance.

Music Theory is the written form of the aural language that is music. Learning music is difficult and requires a lot of patience and work. Approaching music theory with the mindset of learning a foreign language can help bring the patience and forgiveness we give ourselves when learning a new language to learning music.
