About Chika
A warm welcome to my profile! A quick intro: My name is Chika and I am a University Teaching Fellow. I have been teaching/lecturing for about 5 years and have obtained a PhD in Biochemical Engineering (which is the field that I lecture in). I speak Spanish fluently and have also tutored in that subject. I have obtained teaching qualifications from the Higher Education Academy and because of this, I can tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Spanish. My personal background: I was born and raised in London and have therefore been through the English education system (SATs, GCSEs, A-levels, First degree, Master's degree and PhD). I enjoy teaching and giving students the encouragement and confidence to ask questions and actively participate in their learning. Chika is a highly motivated, organized and driven individual which is evident from her accomplishments such as obtaining a doctorate degree and becoming a teaching fellow. She constantly strives to develop her teaching and communication skills and has built a great rapport with people of all ages.
