Students should take social skills lessons from me because I create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can build confidence, strengthen communication, and develop meaningful connections with others. I use a relationship-based, strengths-focused approach that meets each student where they’re at, helping them feel seen and valued. With my background in child and youth care, I understand the importance of emotional regulation, empathy, and active listening—and I model these skills in every session. Through interactive activities and real-life scenarios, I help students practice and apply social tools that will benefit them in school, friendships, and beyond.
Students should take Child and Youth Care lessons from me because I bring both practical experience and a compassionate, strengths-based approach to teaching. With a background in working directly with children and youth across diverse settings, I offer real-world insights that help bridge theory and practice. I create a learning environment that is inclusive, reflective, and grounded in trauma-informed care.
