About Yuan

Hello, glad you found me!

My name is Yuan. As a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker, my undergraduate major is editing and publishing. During this period, I received more professional and standardized Chinese learning. I worked for CMG (formerly known as CCTV) for 6 years as a news editor, reporter and program planner. I produced many excellent news programs and also won the China Journalism Awards, which was a recognition of my professional skills and efforts. These experiences have given me excellent and professional Chinese language expression and writing and reading skills.

I have also worked as an English pronunciation correction teacher for the online English learning platform Teacher Gwen, teaching English learners of all ages, which gave me good experience in teaching.

I am an optimistic and always patient person. I am currently an international student in Brisbane. I hope that as your tutor and study partner, I can use my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to help you continue to move forward on the road of Chinese learning. About the lesson

· I hope to help students master Chinese in a relaxed atmosphere. I will combine a variety of teaching techniques in the course, including practical daily conversation training, and discussion of hot topics and stories to make learning more interesting. I focus on cultivating students' four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. At the same time, I will appropriately incorporate Chinese songs, movies and cultural elements according to students' interests and needs to enhance the practicality and cultural experience of language learning.
· 1 hour (For younger students or special needs learners, I also offer short 30-minute lesson options.)
· PSC: Level 1-B; worked as an English pronunciation correction teacher at Gwen Teacher (online English learning platform)
· My courses are suitable for students of all ages and levels, whether you are a zero-level learner who wants to learn basic conversation, an advanced learner who wants to improve your reading and writing skills, or you are looking for a Chinese tutor for your child. I am able to provide customized teaching plans based on specific needs.
