About Wei

你好！I‘m Vivi from Shanghai. I hold a bachelor‘s degree in English literature and I have two years teaching experience in China. Compared to English, Chinese has four tones, dissimilar phonetics and grammar, not to mention the strokes and radicals of thousands of characters. But, don't worry, I can assure you, with a little extra help, you can start a wonderful journey.

About the lesson

My class is conversational and student engaged. I want my students to use this language in class and out of class.

I prepare students for HSK examinations, for traveling to China or just those who want to learn the language.

Perfect! This tutor is absolutely amazing. Very patient, very professional, and very willing to go at any pace that is right for the student. To say that she is extremely committed to helping her students is an understatement. As Wei's student, I have seen myself improve tremendously even after just a few weeks of working with her. Wei is willing to go above and beyond to help her students. She is a native Chinese speaker with a lot of experience teaching students, which is very helpful in learning the language. I would recommend her to anyone who has an interest in learning Mandarin regardless of their level of expertise or goals.
