About Yang
I'm a PhD student studying Biomedical Engineering with a lot of teaching experiences. I used to be a tutor for high school students during my undergraduate studies in China, teaching them different subjects in Chinese. During my PhD period, I occasionally tutor undergraduates and masters students from my major at uni.
I'm professional in teaching and I'm also a funny person. Some of my students from years ago became my friends and we still stay in contact now. I'm confident that I will bring a lot of fun on your journey of learning mandarin!

My teaching methods will vary from person to person, depending on your learning goals and Mandarin level. For those who take learning Mandarin as an interest and want to know this foreign language, I will focus on the teaching of everyday language. If you already have some basic everyday communication vocabulary, I will teach you how to master the language with more academic or idiomatic vocabulary.
I have selected different books for teaching and supplements. I will make sheets for students before every class to help them study.
Length of my lesson is flexible depending on you from 1 hour to 2/3 hours. And my lessons are open to everyone who wanna learn mandarin with any age/level.
