Chinese seems to be a difficult language to learn. However, I believe in exposing my students to the media and Chinese literature in simple forms to familiarize them with the written characters, with the sound of the language and with the deeper meanings behind the language. I use different teaching tools, including books, videos, listening comprehension exercises, oral conversations and worksheets.
