I am Chris, I have a PGCE & MSc in Physical Education. 16 years FE experience as a Sports Science teacher. I have taught both BTEC Sports Science & A-Level PE. I am also Sports massage & PT qualified.

About Chris
How I teach?
My lessons are practical, structured and student-centred. I like to pinpoint gaps, then build a personalised plan with clear weekly targets. Sessions mix short, memorable explanations, past-paper practice, practical demonstrations and mock marking. I use brief video follow-ups and targeted tasks so learning sticks between lessons.
Why I teach
I enjoy turning classroom theory into real skills and confidence. Helping students to feel confident with coursework, practical assessments and exam technique is rewarding for me. I aim to make learning engaging, relevant and achievable.

I like to teach to make learning memorable by breaking content into small, simple, and engaging steps. I use practical, fun techniques and real-world examples to help students retain information and build confidence.
Lessons challenge students to rethink how they learn, develop personalised strategies, and practise active recall and application. My approach is friendly, supportive and results-focused, aiming for steady progress and long-term understanding.
