About Claudio

Ciao! I was born in Bologna and moved to Manchester when I was 17. Despite living in the UK, I still maintain a strong connection to my Italian roots.
I frequently travel to Italy to visit friends, ensuring that I stay immersed in the culture. I also continue to watch Italian TV, listen to Italian music, and, most importantly, enjoy authentic Italian food.

I love to travel and watch documentaries, especially those about different countries' cultures, as they give me the chance to see life from a different perspective. These interests enrich my teaching, allowing me to offer a broad, culturally informed approach to language learning.

Having visited various cities in Italy, I can teach you about the unique cultures within the country. Just as Manchester is different from London, each Italian city has its own unique charm and characteristics.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. I use a communicative approach, focusing on real life conversation practice, grammar, and vocabulary in context. I can also incorporate multimedia resources such as videos and music emphasise different aspects of the Italian culture.

A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, giving us the chance to cover various aspects of the language, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. But, lesson duration can be adjusted based on the individual preference and schedule.

I am a native Italian speaker with over 17 years of experience. I hold a Masters degree in Digital Marketing and have worked for the Italian department of big corporations, such as Booking.com and The Hut Group.

My lessons are suitable for learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Whether you are looking to improve your conversational skills, prepare for exams, or learn Italian for travel or business.
