About Eric
I am a recent Civil Engineering graduate from Imperial College London and will soon begin a PhD focused on sustainable water systems in Mexico City. Throughout school and university, I have enjoyed helping classmates and younger students build confidence and master challenging material. During this period, I studied Maths, Physics, Spanish, Music, Further-Maths (AS) and EPQ at A-levels, achieving A*A*A*AAA respectively, and am Upper Second Clss Honours in my Master's of Engineering.
I have previous experience tutoring students in Maths and Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) at primary and GCSE-level, have helped university students secure competitive engineering internships, and after graduating, mentored international students across Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil, Materials and Design engineering at Imperial College's Global Summer School. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can develop strong understanding and genuine enjoyment of their subject.

I offer 1-2 hour sessions in Maths, Physics and Spanish for GCSE and A-level students. My teaching is supportive but intellectually challenging, focused on helping students build deep understanding of concepts rather than memorising methods. Drawing on my Civil Engineering degree, I place Maths and Physics topics in real-world contexts so students can see why what they're learning matters. Lessons and contexts are tailored to each student's pace, strengths and areas for improvement. My aim is to develop confident, independent thinkers with strong problem-solving skills and effective exam technique.
