About Sobia
I have been giving lessons since 2008 on all levels.
I have taught more than 100 students till now.
My students have always achieved A and A* grades. I have always been admired and acknowledged by my students and lecturers over my teaching skills, flexibility in the delivery of lessons and pastoral care towards my students, which has boosted my confidence and devotion towards teaching.

I am a Ph.D. holder in Civil Engineering, under fully funded Scholarship from Schlumberger Foundation. I was among 33 women who were selected for this scholarship among 500 applicants from all over the world that was one of my best achievements during my study tenure. I am in essence someone who is passionate about teaching and research and this dedication led to my Ph.D. degree.
I have more than 8 years experience in teaching Engineering and Science at all levels. Subjects include Maths, Further Maths, Science, English, Physics, Concrete Technology and Engineering Mechanics.
Around 8 year experience teaching research methods and methodologies. Helped many students to publish in Q1 Journals. Students feel comfortable and confident under my supervision. I also provide premium service for Proofreading and Editing of Thesis and Research papers. Also, provide guidelines and ideas for presentation.
I have excellent oral and written communication skills that were developed during my eight years of involvement in research and development. I have presented research papers, written by me, in about nine conferences including two international conferences in London, UK and Queensland, Australia, and also published several articles in International Journals.
For one, after being exposed to several research related activities, teaching, multi-tasking and a variety of skills in the past eight years, I have become much more well-organized, disciplined and proficient in undertaking tasks with enhanced confidence in my abilities to deliver work that is of equitable competence. This is because I have worked under expert supervision, competitive environment and tight deadlines while making sure that the work is of an appropriate standard, acceptable to the Professors, who were also my mentors during my study tenure. I believe that my above-mentioned experiences and skills completely fulfil the job requirements and make me eligible for the tutoring position.
