About Ben
I am a 23 year old civil structural engineer from Edinburgh, and I am tutoring for one year before I start my full-time career. My motivation to tutor and help others learn comes from my own experience and gratitude to those who helped me get through the arduous mathematical courses in my degree. My time being tutored allowed me to learn the importance of various tutoring techniques and the ability of a tutor to adjust to their student's needs.

I can teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry at National 5 and Higher level. I can also tutor Civil Engineering students who are in the first and second years of their degree. I aim to provide lessons of 60 and 90 minute durations, and I am available in the central Edinburgh area. I am a recent graduate of a 5 year integrated master's in Civil Engineering, which teaches a wide variety of subjects at a high level. In my time at university, I was a member of the engineering society, during which I helped the younger years with their studies. I now wish to put my mentor experience from university and school to use to help aspiring students progress.
