About Bishwash
I have just finished Year 13, going on to study Civil Engineering at under graduate level. I like tutoring because it is fulfilling to give a student lacking confident that little push to ensure they get the grades they deserve.

I am a first-year Civil Engineering student at the University of Nottingham and a dedicated tutor with a year's non-professional experience helping students achieve their academic goals.
My teaching approach begins by assessing the student's current understanding of a topic, followed by an explanation of the concept and addressing any knowledge gaps. I then work through examples together with the student to demonstrate effective solutions before guiding them through independent exercises. I conclude each session by letting marking a student's independent work alongside when with the mark scheme, so they can become familarised with it. Finally I assign a question as homework (10-15 minutes) to reinforce their learning.
My priority is to adapt to each student’s unique learning style—whether they thrive in independent or collaborative settings, prefer written or verbal communication, or benefit from a fast-paced or detailed approach. This personalized strategy ensures the most effective and engaging lessons possible.
