About Dean
I have been tutoring for 4 years. I started as a volunteer tutor at the local library, teaching elementary classes and instantly developed a passion for teaching. Since then, I've been tutoring both privately and holding group sessions with students aged between 7 and 18 years old. My favourite subjects to teach are maths and sciences.

Initially, I like to understand why the student is requires academic support. Maybe they are not using efficient learning tactics or it's simply because the subject doesn't them. After finding the root of the problem, I find an optimal solution.
Here are two examples that I've experienced:
A student kept trying to memorize the curriculum by reading it over and over again, I provided an alternative to record themselves and listen to it a few times and it made a significant improvement.
A student wasn't interested in biology but had a passion for computers, so I compared computer parts to cell organelles and there was a notable difference in test scores.
