About Jisu
I'm clarinet player who is currently pursuing BM Clarinet Performance at Indiana University.
My primary teachers include Howard Klug and Kwanghoon Yi.
I was raised in Dallas, TX. During high school years, i was 2 times All-staters.
I have participated in masterclasses with numerous world class educators including Steven Williamson (Principal Clarinet, Chicago Symphony Orchestra), Alexander Fiterstein (Peabody Institute, Past winner of Carl Nielson Competition), Eli Eban (Indiana University) and more.

I'm teacher and player who likes to set the foundation correctly from the ground. Whether you just started learn how to play, or have played for multiple years, I will make you to become better musician than before. Without proper ground, it means nothing! (We will go detail during lesson what your goal is whether is short-term or long-term and how we can achieve that)
I will use my knowledge I learned from world-class educators to go over fundamentals (including proper posture, embouchure) ,different levels of repertoire, competition preparation and such.
