About Jamie
I am Jamie Vitacco, a Swiss clarinettist currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London under Tim Lines and Peter Sparks. With over 10 years of experience, I have performed as a soloist across Europe and beyond – including a debut at the Musikverein Vienna, concerts in South Korea, and performances in Ljubljana, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague.
As Principal Clarinettist of the Zurich Youth Symphony Orchestra and former member of the Concertgebouw Young Orchestra in Amsterdam, I have built a strong orchestral foundation alongside my solo career. My achievements include a 1st Prize with Distinction at the Swiss Youth Music Competition and a Special Award from the Swiss Clarinet Society.
I am passionate about sharing my love for the clarinet and helping students of all levels discover their musical potential. Whether you are just starting out or working towards an audition, I bring dedication, patience, and the high standards of my own training to every lesson.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual goals, whether you are picking up the clarinet for the first time or preparing for an important audition. I focus on building strong fundamentals – tone, breathing, and technique – while always keeping the joy of music at the centre of every lesson.
Having helped students make real, noticeable progress, I know how rewarding it is to see someone grow as a musician. I bring the same dedication and high standards from my own studies at the Royal College of Music into my teaching, making lessons both structured and enjoyable.
