About Samadrita
I am a Class 12 student with strong Class 10 Board examination results and a strong academic foundation in Biology. As a current senior-school student, I have a first-hand understanding of the curriculum, examination expectations, and the areas where students commonly experience difficulty.
I teach Biology to students from Classes 6–10 in Durgapur, with a focus on conceptual clarity, structured learning, and examination preparation. My approach is based on explaining concepts in a simple and logical manner, using relatable examples and diagrams, and then reinforcing understanding through relevant questions and practice.
Being a student myself, I understand that different students learn at different speeds and may struggle with different aspects of the same topic. I therefore aim to create a patient and approachable learning environment where students can ask questions freely while still maintaining a focused and professional class structure.
My objective is not simply to help students complete their syllabus. I want to help them build a strong foundation in Biology, become more confident in answering questions, and gradually develop the ability to study and solve problems independently.
I take each class seriously and prepare with the goal of ensuring that every lesson provides clear, measurable academic value to the student.

My Teaching Approach
I believe effective Biology teaching is about building understanding first and using memorisation only where it is genuinely necessary. My goal is to make students understand not just what a concept is, but why it works and how to apply it in an examination.
Teaching Method
I use a structured, student-centred approach that combines:
* Clear, step-by-step explanations of concepts
* Diagrams, examples, and real-life connections to make Biology easier to visualise
* Regular questioning to check understanding throughout the lesson
* Focused practice with exam-style questions
* Revision of important concepts and identification of common mistakes
* Adaptation of the pace and depth of teaching according to the student's level
Typical Class Structure
A typical class begins with a short review of previously covered material, followed by the introduction and explanation of the new concept. I then use questions and examples to ensure the student has understood the topic before moving to application-based and exam-oriented practice. The class concludes with a brief recap of the key points and areas that need further revision.

As a student myself, I understand the difficulties school students commonly face when learning Biology. This allows me to explain concepts from a student's perspective, using language that is clear and approachable while still maintaining academic accuracy.
I focus on creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and clarifying doubts. My aim is not simply to help students complete their syllabus, but to develop the conceptual foundation and confidence needed to perform independently.
