About Guido

Through various phases of my academic and institutional career, I have always been tutoring: I really enjoy working on someone's project and seeing the developments together. I find it very rewarding when students succeed in their efforts, and this gives me the motivation to give my best during each tutoring session. Currently I am working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UCL, where I have just been nominated for the Excellent Personal Tutoring Student Choice Award. There I am teaching Growth Economics, and the Economics of Money and Banking. I also teach Macroeconomics at LSE. My current research activity is in Macroeconomics (Monetary, in particular). I am also very happy when tutoring gives students the chance to get insights on future career or study opportunities.

About the lesson

We can meet for a 30 minutes free session to get to know each other and make a plan on what we are going to work on. After that, we can choose whether to meet regularly or ad-hoc. I most often teach macroeconomics or finance at different university levels, but I have experience teaching econometrics, maths and statistics as well.

Perfect! Guido really is an excellent tutor, and his experience shows. Unlike other tutors, he does not talk AT you, but WITH you, making the session feel like collaboration rather than a one-sided lecture. Even though I lack research experience to say the least, I've felt engaged and encouraged throughout. I've had the pleasure of brainstorming my thesis with him, and I would recommend him to anyone else for thoughtful academic support.
