About Emily
I am a very compassionate teacher who wants to get you excited about your ability to play the violin. I have played the violin for 25 years now, including youth orchestral experience, eight years of private study, and improvisational experience in my high school praise band. I wish everyone knew how to play this beautiful instrument!

I work with students of all ages and abilities. If you don’t know how to read sheet music, either, that’s ok, I will teach you! I was trained on the Suzuki method (Suzuki Violin School)- also, Schirmer’s Library of Musical Classics. I will incorporate some modern theory and songbooks, as well, to make learning fun. Let’s explore the wonderful world of violin :)
