About John
I have been playing piano for 18 years and have taught lessons for 6. My favorite playing style is improvisation and Jazz, but Classical music is also extremely enjoyable for me. When I was taking lessons from my teacher, I underwent a heavy emphasis on Music Theory and Classical training. It has helped me immensely throughout the years, and I love to share that gift with others.

My lesson structure is built on the idea that no two students are alike. Because of this, I adapt my teaching habits to adhere to the individual to speed them along their music journey. Additionally, I am prepared to teach whatever style or music the student wants to learn. Classical, Jazz, Worship, etc. If you want to learn it, I want to teach it!
