About R
I have loved classical Latin since I was first learning it in an ecclesial setting at five years old. Through my teenage years, I enjoyed taking courses translating Caesar and Cicero, and I continued my Latin education through self-study post-graduation, which is when I first began tutoring. From my first in-person student several years ago, I have now tutored over 20 students and taught more than 30 in school or homsechool co-op settings. Over the years, I have built experience in private tutoring 1-on-1 as well as teaching in classrooms in local classical schools. As a result of the pandemic, I tutor a number of students virtually, and have demonstrated capability ineffectively teaching students remotely.

When working with students virtually, I offer 30-90min lessons that can incorporate whatever material a student needs. I tailor each session to every student, and so am prepared to work through exercises from a student's textbook, give lessons explaining grammar, offer help in memorizing content, and create custom exercises.
My typical students are elementary through high school age, although I have also helped university students through 100 & 200 level Latin courses.
