About Olena
Currently pursuing an ARCT in Piano Pedagogy, in process of becoming a certified RCM teacher. Music has always been my language of emotion and imagination. I believe music study is essential, as it builds cognitive focus, emotional intelligence, and resilience. Every student has the capacity to express themselves through music and find true passion in the notes they play. My purpose as a teacher is to guide that discovery, using the RCM Curriculum!

Using the RCM curriculum, I teach primarily through visual imagination and physical demonstration, all while staying focused on academic growth. I frequently use stories and vivid comparisons to help students understand and remember technical concepts better. I specialize in teaching beginners and school-aged children, as well as adult students who are seeking music for enrichment and personal enjoyment. I tailor my pacing as well as learning styles to fit the needs of the student, ensuring the material remains accessible and understandable, yet challenging.
