About William
I have been a life long student of piano and music in general. I received my Classical music foundation from ages 5-12 receiving 2 lessons per week totaling between 3-5 hours weekly in addition to intensive study. Thereafter I received mostly jazz and some blues training for approximately 2 years. In high school I was a pianist for the chorus and jazz bands. I briefly played electronic keyboards in a rock band in the late 80’s. In college at the University of South Florida I received additional training in piano for multiple semesters along with beginning and advanced digital music creation. Thereafter there was a 5 year period fairly recently whereby I was a music director and pianist for a church. I actively arrange modern music and do compose and have copywrited material registered. I have tutored various students for over 35 years focused mainly upon the beginning to intermediate levels of instruction and tend to be more flexible in methodology as the piano skillset increases. I look forward to recitals and socials for those students and/or families interested. I have a professional background in mental and developmental health so individuals with disabilities and/or other health related issues are encouraged to discuss options on initial consultation.

Lessons provided for students of all ages who have or feel they have a strong interest in significant study. Likely not suited for the casual hobbyist. 1 hour per week minimum although encourage 2+ hours a week instruction. Music theory to be taught along with technical training and skillsets. Books provided and humanities/historical backgrounds and context also expressed in lessons. Classical training with the ability to read and/or sight read for initial foundation, although open to teaching various genres and music composition if so inclined. Open to working with children and/or adults with ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, or Emotional Disorders if agreed upon parameters are in place. Thank you.
