About Caleb
I used to be a concert pianist and competed at my local college while I was in middle school. However, my teacher, who managed entering me into these competitions, retired. From there, I began practicing on my own and ended up playing another show at my school, playing at my church, and playing in a small jazz group with my friends to make some money.
Following this, I focused my time into helping my siblings and other family members and friends learn piano, offering lessons at my house and working with them until high school. Now that they are focused on school now, I want to share my passion for music elsewhere.

There are three fundamentals for learning piano: technique, theory, and performance ability. Theory can be learned from a book, but it is useless without practice.
Practice makes permanent! It is important that you are practicing the right things and I am here to help you do that. As a beginner, you will learn a lot faster. My goal is to put you on a path to not need me anymore and continue learning on your own.
I plan to assign you songs, or your choice of song, and go over the technique necessary to master that song. However, it ultimately comes down to practice.
