About Melissa
I've been giving lessons for 6 years to students as young as 4 and as mature as 31. I have been playing for over 21 years. I have a degree in Psychology and also teach Special Needs Middle School Students.

I use a variety of playing and learning music theory and reading music. I try to find what the student is interested in learning and base lessons off of those interests to keep them engaged. However, the basics of reading music and piano technique are incredibly important to me.
